2GB is throwing its support behind 38-year-old Mark Patterson.

Mark has recently been diagnosed with Stage 3 bowel cancer, as well as a rare and aggressive form of pancreatic cancer.

As an emergency services worker and the sole breadwinner for his family, he is the primary support for his wife and teenage son.

Living in rural NSW, Mark must travel long distances for treatment over the coming months.

This fundraiser aims to ease the financial burden of medical bills, treatment, and travel costs during this difficult time.
