ACCC Deputy Chair, Catriona Lowe, reveals how to spot these bank scams so you can hold on to your savings.

Scammers are utilising technology so it appears as if you are getting a call or text from a legitimate number.

“The scammers are able to spoof the identity of major financial and other institutions,” Ms Lowe told Chris O’Keefe.

“Your bank will not ask you to urgently transfer funds, this is a scam.”
