One of Australia’s most iconic musicians and songwriters has released a new song.

“If” is a poem by English writer and poet Rudyard Kipling, which iconic Australian musician Don Spencer decided to release as a song.

Don Spencer told Deborah Knight that as he got older and experienced life, the more he appreciated the words from Rudyard Kipling’s poem.

“It takes a look at what you should do at life to be a good person, to put it simply.

“Hopefully this will introduce people to this wonderful poem.”
