NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet believes it’s time to consider reducing the seven day covid isolation period.

In an interview with Ben Fordham this morning, the NSW Premier said: “We need to look at isolation requirements in a way that maintains downward pressure on our health system”.

2GB senior reporter Clinton Maynard told Ray Hadley that Mr Perrottet also hinted towards a reduction in the isolation period as winter ends.

“He said ‘we need to be thinking about changing the isolation period for spring and summer’.

“He didn’t rule out fewer days than five.”
