‘Disgraceful’ – Dan Tehan slams Albo after oil refinery fire
Shadow Energy Minister Dan Tehan has called out the Federal Government for lacking a coordinated national response to securing Australia’s fuel supply.
His comments come after one of Australia’s two oil refineries was severely damaged in an out-of-control fire overnight.
“There used to be six refineries in this country. Um, two closed under the previous Labour government, and they closed when Anthony Albanese was the transport minister … this rewriting of the truth by the Prime Minister and by Chris Bowen is really disgraceful,” he told Luke Grant, filling in for Mark Levy.
