Article image for Disabled Blackball player’s amazing story of perseverance

A local Aussie has shared his truly inspiring Blackball playing career story with Jim Wilson.

Aaron Batchelor had a stroke when he was nine on his mum’s birthday.

He was told he’d never play sports again, but after being invited to go and play some pool with his best mate Tim he discovered a new passion.

Aaron has now been selected to represent Australia at the world pool championships in October.

Aaron Batchelor told Jim Wilson he uses his left arm in a creative way.
