It’s been revealed that solar panels are being dumped in landfills once they reach the end of their life, thanks to hazardous materials that can’t be recycled.

The Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment, and Water has warned one million tonnes of solar panels are about to come offline over the next decade.

“Is this what net zero looks like? Are we just overflowing our rubbish tips in a bid to save the environment? That doesn’t make sense to me,” James Willis said on 2GB Breakfast.
