A journalist who served the Queen for 12 years has shared what it was like working for her.

Dickie Arbiter was a press secretary from 1988 to 2000 and worked closely with Queen Elizabeth II.

He told Ben Fordham “she was a terrifically good boss”.

“When you work alongside somebody for 12 years … you never forget that experience.”
