Deputy Premier to wage election war on water
Water security is the centrepiece of the National Party’s state election campaign.
It’s promising to boost funding for drought protection plans and will put aside $25 million for a feasibility study into a 1930s style water scheme.
State Nationals Leader and Deputy Premier, John Barilaro, tells Alan Jones water should be a key issue in next month’s election.
“With the drought, I think now is the best time to have this conversation with the broader public about more dams, storage, pipelines.
“And future proof regional New South Wales!”
