NSW Deputy Premier Paul Toole has spent the day in the North of NSW getting a first-hand view of the devastation the floods have caused.

He told Jim Wilson the heroism among the local communities is nothing short of remarkable but the consequences of the destruction will be prevalent.

“It’s going to be very tough.

“We have to make sure we stand side by side with those communities are they rebuild.”
