Deputy Premier John Barilaro insists he does support the government’s position on demolishing and rebuilding sporting stadiums.

The Nationals leader has previously indicated the government could wind back its policy… saying a final decision is yet to be made.

Responding to speculation The Nationals’ support is wavering, Mr Barilaro tells Steve Price they’re 100% behind the $2 billion rebuild of Allianz and ANZ Stadiums.

“Absolutely I support the government, our government, my government, along with the Premier’s position on that policy. Absolutely!

Steve Price, “And that won’t change?”

“Well, it won’t change.”

Mr Barilaro is also the Minister for Regional NSW and tells Steve we should consider sending immigrants to our regional cities.

“We often think about immigration to Sydney or another capital city.

“We don’t think about it in the context that there are some great cities in regional NSW.”
