Deborah Knight grills Energy Minister over ‘politicised’ flood assistance

2GB Afternoons

Energy Minister Angus Taylor has been grilled over neglecting flood victims through a slow rollout of flood assistance.

$862 million in emergency flood payments has been paid to 1 million people over the past few weeks.

Mr Taylor told Deborah Knight “they were all given support”.

“Let’s not let this get politicised.”

“Well, you’re the government that gave it to National Party electorates first!” Deborah shot back.
