Deborah Knight has added her family’s story to the litany of anger following the government’s “broken promise” to reinstate regional travel.

Deborah is one of thousands cut off from loved ones, having not seen her mother and step-father in Coffs Harbour since January.

“Haven’t all of us been through enough?”

During her regular Tea Time segment, Deborah’s mum Barb surprised her daughter by calling in with her own take on the “disappointing” news.

“It’s really a bit of a shock.”

Deborah admitted she’s been “completely brought undone” by the delay.

“I was relying on you to make the birthday cake for Elsa’s party!”
