‘Dead in the water’: MPs to reject plan to ban grass parking at SCG
The NSW government is expected to ditch a plan to remove a popular car park at Moore Park and replace it with a synthetic cricket pitch.
The proposal included a new car park which will have 1,200 fewer car spots near the Sydney Cricket Ground.
NSW One Nation Leader Mark Latham told Ben Fordham there’s “zero” chance of the plan going ahead.
“The government tells me it’s dead in the water.
“If they drop the back of the bill, which I’m expecting they will, then it will be pretty good legislation.”
