Nationals leader David Littleproud believes the Jobs and Skills Summit has an “over-representation” of union members.

Of the 142 official participants at the summit, 35 of them are union officials.

Mr Littleproud told Jim Wilson the union plays an important role but it’s “their time”.

“They are high up in the stirrups and they want payback for it.

“You don’t want to have a system where unions go in and sabotage development in this country where they shut down worksites for the sake of it just to prove a point.”
