NSW Minister David Elliott is sharing his concern for veterans as the federal government pushes forward with a plan to bring back the families of Islamic State members

Women brought back from detention camps in Syria are likely to be detained upon arrival in Australia, on terrorism control orders.

42 children will also be returned.

The NSW Veterans Minister told Ben Fordham he’s concerned for the mental well-being of veterans and their families.

“For the 10s of thousands of people who’ve been affected by the war against terrorism … I think veterans have a good reason to feel a bit deflated today.”
