Independent candidate for Fowler Dai Le is feeling confident as she pulls ahead of her Labor rival.

Kristina Keneally is suffering a heavy 17 per cent swing against her after being parachuted into the western Sydney seat.

Le told John Stanley she’s happy with what she’s achieved, even if it’s still too early to call the victor.

“Whatever the result will be, I believe we have won in shaking the whole party system out here.

“It is sending a message.”
