A copper thief is suspected to be the reason why commuters have had another day of chaos on several train lines after wires were found cut at Guildford.

CEO of Sydney Trains, Matt Longland says repair crews had to reconnect 50 separate parts of cables,

“People are very well-organised, these cables sit inside some very heavy-duty steel-troughing,” he said.
