Cronulla Sharks Star Nicho Hynes said wearing the Indigenous jersey and discovering his culture was “one of the proudest” moments of his life.

Hynes told the Continuous Call Team how he was not fully aware of his heritage previously.

“I didn’t really know a whole heap of who I was and my culture growing up.”

Hynes said learnt more about his culture being apart of the Indigenous training camp.

“To stay in contact with all the elders  … was huge.”
