Consumers warned off NSW building company after authorities step in

ray hadley

Consumers are being warned about NSW building company Green Magic Homes and its managing director after their contractor licence was cancelled.

It comes after A Current Affair spoke to a couple who lost everything in the Black Summer fires on the NSW far south coast, who say they have been left with an unlivable, half-finished new home built by the company.

They say they employed Green Magic Homes to build them a “hobbit home”.

Fair Trading Minister Eleni Petinos yesterday announced the company can no longer advertise, contract for or undertake any residential building work for which a licence is required in NSW and was no longer lawfully able to contract to do residential building work above $5000.

Ray Hadley has warned people from engaging the services of managing director Glenn Stevenson.

The story first aired on A Current Affair last night.
