Councilor slams his own LGA over ‘nanny state’ booze ban

Liberal councilor Rory Amon has slammed a decision by the Northern Beaches Council to implement a booze ban on local beaches on Australia Day.
Cr Amon said responsible beach-goers were being unnecessarily punished.
“Really to me this is just a nanny state issue which has just gone a bit too far,” he said on 2GB Drive.
