Consent warning push falls over as Aussies take a stand

Ben Fordham

Consent Lab started the petition, promoted by publications like The Guardian, which struggled to reach 2,000 signatures.

The petition needed 20,000 supporters to have a chance of being raised in parliament.

“Aussies had a look at it and said, ‘tell ’em they’re dreaming’,” Ben said.

“Get a life and grow a funny bone.”
