An Australian man is missing in the Republic of Congo.

Teacher Mark Ciavarella had been living and working in the capital city of Brazzaville as an English teacher.

The alarm was raised when he didn’t show up for a function with colleagues.

Mark Ciavarella’s cousin Nick told Jim Wilson he and a lot of people are concerned.

“There has been a real lack of any information coming out, things can unravel pretty quickly in that part of the world.”
