The NSW Premier is denying claims Minister David Elliott was promised a non-existent trade role in London.

Reports suggest Dominic Perrottet offered to create the new position, as a sweetener for him exiting cabinet.

Mr Perrottet told Ben Fordham he rejects the claim.

“The allegations in relation to the creation of a role I would give to somebody outside politics is completely false and offensive.

“We canvased a number of options in which Minister Elliott could continue to serve the people of NSW in the cabinet.”
