Commuters advised to leave work late as rail strike delays flow on
Rail staff have returned to their jobs after four hours of industrial action, amidst a pay and workplace safety dispute.
Transport for NSW COO Howard Collins told Jim Wilson commuters are advised to leave work at least an hour later, and delays will continue will continue well into the evening peak.
“Every single train along the network stopped around about 9 o’clock this morning, so every single route had an impact.”
TrainLink passengers, whose services run every half hour or less frequently, have been told to “watch out” for cancellations and additional stops.
