Coalition open to ‘constructive’ talks with Labor on controversial super tax
Following Labor’s federal election victory, attention has shifted to their controversial superannuation tax policy, which proposes to increase taxes on super earnings from 15% to 30% for balances over $3 million and tax unrealised capital gains.
Shadow Treasurer Ted O’Brien is “willing to work with the government on this policy.”
