Clive Palmer’s advertising blitz for his latest political bid topped $1 million last month in radio and TV.

And his representatives have hinted his media bombardment may be just beginning.

But former Queensland Nickel workers aren’t happy the money is being splashed on ads and not being used to pay the money owed to former employees.

“It’s just absolutely appalling,” says former Queensland Nickel worker Sam Larkins.

“But then that’s typical of Clive, isn’t it? Everything, since he destroyed Townsville and destroy the nickel plant, has been disgusting.”
