Clinton Maynard has pointed out the taxpayer will front the bill for free travel this weekend and face difficulty getting around as the government tries to negotiate with the RBTU.

“Making the trains free this week, what is that going to achieve? Because what it does show is that the union certainly has a lot of influence over the government,” he said.
