The Supreme Court has given a class action against the country’s largest cosmetic surgery provider the green light.

The Cosmetic Institute had tried to halt the legal action, sparked after a woman went into cardiac arrest during a breast augmentation procedure.

Turner Freeman lawyer Sally Gleeson tells Chris Smith hundreds of women have contacted them, and they expect the numbers will grow.

She says it’s the first action of its kind in the country.
