Circus Oz is celebrating 40 years of breaking the mould. And they’re doing so in style.

Artistic director at Circus Oz, Rob Tannion, tells Warren Moore what the public can expect from their newest show Model Citizens.

“The show itself is looking at how we celebrate individuals in society.

“We’re thrilled to be in Parramatta as part of the Sydney festival. We’re going to be in for a really good run.”

Rob says the audience can expect some spectacular tricks from some of the world’s greatest acrobats.

“There’s tonnes of fun to be had. From knife throwing to hula hooping to group acrobatics.

“I have to say, on a world stage, Australian acrobats are really in high demand. As a country, we produce some of the finest acrobats.”

Model Citizens will run from 2-28 January at Prince Alfred Square in Parramatta.
