Chris O’Keefe has taken Jim Chalmers to task following the news Australia’s economy grew by an annual pace of one per cent.

He says Chalmers needs to stop shifting the blame onto the Reserve Bank and start taking a good look at the Government’s role.

“This isn’t just a blip, it’s a significant slowdown that warrants proper scrutiny … Australia’s economic health is dire,” he said.
