NSW Opposition Leader says that the Premier’s proposed fund for kids is costly and should go towards improving the education system.

This comes after Dominic Perrottet’s promise of a ‘future fund’ for children to help them with education and home deposits.

The Perrottet Government is promising to deposit $400 to start a fund and match carer contributions of up to $400 a year until the child turns 18.

Chris Minns’ told Chris O’Keefe that the policy is unaffordable and that the education system is the most important legacy and investment that needs attention.

“Better things to put the money into Chris, essential services and of course putting downward pressures on the cost of living,” Mr Minns said.
