It’s been a massive week for the NRL’s 2028 newcomers!

They’ve officially secured Jarome Luai as the clubs inaugural superstar. Luai was spotted touring the compound in Port Moresby just days before the landmark deal was made.

The new franchise is also eyeing off Rabbitohs winger Alex Johnston and while he hasn’t put pen to paper yet, optimism is high.

“We’ve been negotiating with Alex for sometime, and we’re pretty confident it’s going to happen,” PNG Chiefs’ GM Michael Chammas told The Continuous Call Team.
