Millions of Australians will see a massive cash boost in their bank account next week as certain Centrelink payments rise.

Jobseeker, age pension, disability support pension, and carer payments are all set to rise from March 20.

The decision comes after the government announced further financial assistance for residents impacted by the floods across NSW and Queensland.

GM Services Australia Hank Jongen told Deborah Knight, “You don’t need to do anything”.

“It kicks off on a regular fortnightly basis.”
