Celebrity chef, Luke Mangan, has expressed his disappointment with the Minns’ government for canceling two Christmas food festivals, Open for Lunch and Noël Sydney.

He explained that hospitality and tourism in Sydney have decreased by 15-20%.

“If this government doesn’t want to celebrate our city, its culture, and the food, I will take this concept to Victoria or Brisbane or wherever to celebrate Australian food”.

“[The Tourism Minister and I] had a very robot conversation [about] things like the budget… which we get, but you’ve really got to look after small businesses”, Mangan explained.
