CCTV | Fresh appeal for information after Easter Show stabbing
Homicide Squad detectives have launched a fresh appeal for information after a stabbing at the Easter Show.
Investigations continue into the stabbing death of a teenager during a brawl at the Sydney Royal Easter Show this year.
Emergency services responded to the carnival ride section on April 11, following reports of a brawl during which two boys, aged 16 and 17, suffered stab wounds.
The 17-year-old died en route to the hospital.
The 16-year-old boy underwent treatment for a wound to his leg.
Detective Superintendent Danny Doherty told Jim Wilson, the footage is “really important” for family and friends.
“We believe that the people contained within that footage would have information that would significantly progress our investigation,” he said.
“Someone has just got to come forward and do the right thing.”
