Mayor of Wollongong Gordon Bradbery has joined in the cause to help change an oval named after Rex Jackson in Helensburgh.

Chris O’Keefe raised the issue yesterday after Mr Jackson was caught organising the early release of three prisoners in the 1980s.

Mr Bradbery told Chris: “It’s dubious that the name is still around on the oval”.
