The government is being urged to introduce a permanent increase to JobSeeker ahead of a planned reduction of the coronavirus supplement.

The JobSeeker supplement is due to drop to $150 a fortnight in January.

Australian Council of Social Service CEO Cassandra Goldie told Ben Fordham a permanent increase to JobSeeker is crucial.

“We cannot continue to drip feed these cuts to people.”
