Concerns are growing that large tech companies are invading the privacy of children and harvesting their data. 

Liberal Senator Sarah Henderson is putting forward a legislative change and calling on the government to stand up to social media platforms.

“We put forward a very important change in the law whereby online privacy would be very significantly ramped up,” she told Jim Wilson on Drive. 

“Some of these apps are really insidious in the amount of information that’s being collected.”
