Liberal Senator James McGrath has slammed independents that are from the moderate wing of the party.

Members of the Liberal Party are under attack from a group of political independents but Mr Mcgrath says they are not.

He told Luke Grant, “they claim to be transparent and accountable, but they’re not”.

“These aren’t your classic independents.

“They’re driven by a couple of issues.”

Mr McGrath believes it’s all part of a plan to make sure Scott Morrison is not re-elected.
