Developing reports indicate that Bronson Xerri’s time at Belmore could be over.

The star centre is set to ask for an immediate release from his contract just one game into the season.

The reports come after Xerri was shifted from to right centre earlier this year.

He has not been formally released but the Bulldogs are expected to approve his request.
