The Brisbane Broncos CEO has slammed online trolls for body shaming an NRLW player.

Brisbane Broncos star Julia Robinson has been forced to call out individuals shaming her online after a recent Facebook post by her club ahead of the upcoming season.

One person commented: “He’s gonna be a good player”.

Ms Robinson responded on Instagram stating: “I just wanted to say that no one should be ashamed or self-conscious to have muscles. It shows dedication and hard work. I love my muscles”.

Dave Donaghy told Mark Levy athletes shouldn’t have to put up with these sorts of things and her response is to raise awareness on mental health.

“It’s not that hard to take the option to be kind rather than cruel,” he said.

“Particularly given the horrible week that has been, it’s never been more important to be kind to each other.”
