2GB listener David has revealed the harrowing details of a shooting this morning in Sefton NSW.

A 40-year-old man has been gunned down outside a gym on Carlingford Street in Sefton just after 6:30 this morning.

Emergency Services rushed to the scene but the man couldn’t be saved.

David was in a neighbouring workshop and says he heard about 10 bullets fired.

He’s told Ben Fordham, he initially thought it was a car backfiring.
