The Reserve Bank of Australia lowered the cash rate to 4.1%, down 0.25 percentage points, after holding at 4.35% since November 2023—the highest in 13 years.

In an update ANZ, Westpac, NAB, and CBA will reduce variable rates by 0.25 basis points for all customers, announcing the move shortly after the RBA’s decision.
