Breaking ranks: PM’s legal experts raise concerns about The Voice
There have been major developments overnight regarding the proposed Voice to parliament.
Two more members of the government’s Constitutional expert group have broken ranks and admitted that the proposed wording isn’t constitutionally sound.
Law experts Anne Twomey and George Williams intervention “will add more pressure on those who’ve ignored the alarm bells so far”, said Ben Fordham.
“The whole point of the Voice was finding grassroots ideas that were going to improve the lives of Aboriginal people.”
