Police have dragged protesters off the Spit Bridge after they blocked citybound lanes.

Listener Emma told Ben Fordham the protesters are sitting on the road with signs ‘Fireproof Australia’.

This follows a similar protest late last month.

Roads Minister Natalie Ward told Ben she too was stuck on the bridge.

“I am sick of it, like everybody else.

“We need to make sure the penalties are really severe because they are just being completely selfish.”
