NRL star Curtis Scott has been charged with allegedly assaulting his former partner.

The 24-year-old was arrested at a Sydney golf court yesterday and charged with two counts of intentionally choking a person, two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, stalking and common assault.

Police allege the man assaulted a woman known to him on numerous occasions in 2018.

He has been granted conditional bail to appear in court next week.
