Former Australian cricketer Michael Slater has been arrested and refused bail after allegedly breaching an AVO.

Slater was arrested this morning on West Promenade, Manly over the reported breach.

He was refused bail and will appear before Manly Local Court today.

The 51-year-old was charged over an alleged domestic violence incident in October.
