Mask mandate extended as Sydney records spike in COVID cases
NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian has announced an extension of the mask mandate after 10 COVID-19 cases were recorded.
A majority of cases were considered close contacts, with eight of the cases already in isolation.
Masks will be mandatory for indoor venues across Greater Sydney, including Wollongong, for the next week.
There are now 21 cases linked to the Bondi cluster.
