At least three children and three adults have been killed in a school shooting, in the US state of Tennessee.

The Covenant School in Nashville, where the incident took place, is a private Christian school for students from preschool through the sixth grade.

Police in Nashville say the suspect a 28-year-old woman, has been shot dead by police.
